Rosine dead at the 5th June 2004 from Osteosarcoma.
She was not only 4 years old .
She has been sterilisered very young . Now, today, we know, but too late, that the castration favorises the osteosteosarom. ( Osteosarcoma research upon Rottweiller in Amerika)
It is the reason for which we are opposed to the sterilisation in the Leonberger . It is a very great "Mode" because sterilisation is very confortable only ......for the owner. But hormones are a protection against many pathologies and help Immunitary System .
Sterilisation is an hypocrisie..Sterilisation is not natural.
Very terrible lesson for us . Never, never, we shall do sterilisation in our leonbergers!!!
